I've been an amputee for nearly 13 years. It would be nice to be dated by guys who were interested in more than my missing leg. Don't get me wrong because I don't mind a guy being initially attracted to me because I'm one legged, but he has to remember that there's a fine line between this and an obsession. There's far more to any disabled person than a disability. Look beyond the disability and you'll be rewarded.

I think I can understand how you feel. I've heard of the "devotee" fetish, and people should be wanted for their entirety and not for other reasons.
