Hi All,

I am a grad student working on a project for school and trying to understand the needs and challenges for people who are living with physical disabilities or mobility issues, and who live in a non-doorman building in NYC. If this applies to you and you have a few minutes to spare, I would love to get your feedback by taking the survey below. It 's a quick survey and would really appreciate your input. Thanks so much!

Also, I wanted to mention that you can take the survey even if you don't currently live in a non-doorman building. As long as you have lived in one at some point, then you can take the survey as well. Thanks all! I really appreciate your input.

I'm not sure what a doorman or non-doorman building is.

Hi Daniel! Sure, I'm happy to explain. A doorman building is a residential building (e.g. apartment building, condo, co-op, etc) that has a person who opens the lobby door, greets the residents, permits guests into the building, and can also accept deliveries. Non-doorman buildings do not have a person who does this, so residents open the door themselves, and let their guests in either by buzzing them in through the intercom or opening the lobby door for them.

Hope that answers your question and thanks for your post!
